Main Dock Dedication Ceremony

Re-Dedication of Enhanced Main Dock

Join us May 10th, 2016 for the dedication of our newly renovated main dock at the Tulsa Port of Catoosa!  11 a.m. - 2 p.m..  Dedication Ceremony at 1 p.m..  Local food trucks will be available, federal, maritime, and state V.I.Ps, speeches, and a few surprises!

This renovation project, which stretched over two years and 12.4 Million dollars, doubles our main dock capacity.  Our 200 ton overhead travelling bridge crane has been upgraded so that now it features two 100 ton hoists, with additional auxiliary hoists of 40 tons and 50 tons.  These upgrades enhance our ability to handle containerized freight.

We are ready! When the Panama Canal Expansion is opened later this year it will be possible for intermodal shipments to arrive in Oklahoma in roughly the same time they are currently waiting to be handled at the Port of Los Angeles.  Instead of waiting they will be able to divert to the Port of New Orleans via the new Panama Canal Expansion, offload to barge, navigate the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas Navigation System, and transload from barge to truck or rail right here in the heart of America.

Tuloma Stevedoring is proud to be the intermodal operator of the main dock at the Port of Catoosa.  Come help us celebrate our new capacity!
